The doctor said there is a 10% chance he won't make it but a 40% chance you won't even know he had a stroke in a month. He's having trouble looking to the right and his speech is slurred. They gave him blood thinners to help dissolve the clot. He had a bad headache and they gave him dilaudid for it and it put him to sleep.

This is just crazy, we just had dinner with them last night and were supposed to host dinner for them tomorrow.

On a separate note, I have Nephew-stb2 overnight since SIL can't bother to take care of her own kid (she ran off with her boyfriend to go quadding). I put him to bed in BD2's room on a spare crib mattress I have. Went to check and they are snuggled up together with BD2's stuffed Santa (her "Toy Papa" as she calls it). Kids just seem to know things sometimes.
