nocturnal
I've been noticing ss15 is becoming more and more nocturnal. He is up all night alone doing his own thing and sleeps until I leave for work at 3:30. I like that he is out of my space but it also bugs me. I don't like teens much, my own are ok, but when they're not mine it's just down right annoying as hell. They are so selfish, all they want is food, a phone, tv and privacy. DH and I work our asses off for these ungrateful boys. I am tempted to buy food one day at a time from now on. Stop on my way home to buy dinner!

If it's on the way, why not?!
If it's on the way, why not?! Saves a ton of money too since you will have a plan for meals and only be buying enough to make the meals you plan. I did that for a while when I worked right next door to my usual grocery stop. Had to stop when I moved to the boonies. And being nocturnal is normal for teenagers. It's just part of their psychology. I'd just let that be until a couple weeks before school starts then suggest they start going to bed at the time they would when school starts. If they don't take the suggestion, let them deal with being tired. If they're abusing the phone and tv priviledges, just take them away. Tell them they can earn them back when they start being appreciative. Privacy, eh, let em have it since they are out of your hair then. Make them do household chores or something to earn the right to have a phone and tv... I like the idea of buying food everyday as long as it's not out of your way.
I like my idea of buying food
I like my idea of buying food daily too. It's totally on my way home and it'll save money!
Ok, I'll let the nocturnal thing go and phone thing but might turn off the internet at midnight.
Thanks hanney!
