SO contacted BM about mother's day arrangements since its his weekend he figured she would want them for the day then he would get them back in the evening and take them to school Monday. Nope she doesn't want them did her Mothers day this past weekend (according to her neighbor my cousin she hasn't had her own kids for a week which means they are likely at their uncles). Doesn't change my plans to take my mom to breakfast with my kids and SM to lunch with my kids and SO is taking me to dinner just me, he's already asked my dd is she would watch his kids since their mom doesn't want them. Saves me having to decide if we wee gonna have his kids get her a gift, she's already done her day so we won't be bothering. I cry when I've had to work long shifts on Mother's day and even had my exH tell a job I quit on mothers day when they tried to force a double shift on me. Was a great gesture but being a sahm didn't last long before he had us going broke and back to work I went.
