does anybody else have a DH who grooms them?
I swear, it bugs the crap out of me. He's constantly picking at me pointing out stuff I need to fix or picking something off my face. Or a hair off my back or pointing out that my eye shadow is a bit off or I missed a spot shaving.
Ok, fine some of it isn't so bad...but when we are out an about I can't shave that little spot that nobody can see anyway so don't stinking tell me about it! And I HATE people picking at my face!
He loves it...I hate it.

i also have CRAZY leg hair and have to shave it just so...i'd probably be interrupting him the WHOLE time he tried! "no go up there...no swirl about there...no down there"....here just let me have that!"

I also groom my DH. I'm forever picking dog hair or lint off his clothes, loose eyelashes of his face, loose hairs around his ears (but sometimes I pull ones that just look loose but aren't). I tuck his shirt tags in. I mess with his cuticles if he doesn't push them back. If he has stuff around his mouth I'll wipe it off.
He gets so irritated sometimes (especially with the hair pulling...LMFAO) but if it were me & I had something on my face or hair on my clothes, I'd want someone to get it off of me.
It's easier just to do it than try to explain & direct him to where it is so he can do it himself.

I'm guilty of doing FDH's blackheads and pimples and ingrown hairs... they are just so... satisfying to get out. I LOVE IT. IT'S SO DISGUSTING BUT I LOVE IT!
He HATES it but lets me. Sometimes if I'm upset he'll offer to let me do his nose (normally, if I try to get anywhere near it, his spidey senses will tingle and he blocks me.)

i had a friend once who had this weird fixation on peeling dead skin off, esp after a bad burn...she would beg whoever had a burn to do this...it was so "satisfying" for her when she'd peel an especially long piece off.
we don't pop each others pimples...but he'd probably be ok with it...he just has no problem with that sort of thing...go to the bathroom in front of each other...ugh...

I don't have that fixation as an obsession just yet--but I would beg FDH to peel the dead skin after getting sunburned. And I'd proclaim he (or I, if I was peeling myself) is shedding! He does not find it nearly as interesting as I do.

I constantly groom my SO too and he HATES it. I'm always poking and proding him. He doesn't even want me pointing something out to him but he seriously never notices. He could have a big glop of whatever on his beard and not even notice, and it grosses me out.
He would love to shower together but I refuse. My shower time is my "quiet" time and my hygiene time. I have to do things I don't want him or anyone else seeing, ahahahahaa. Plus, I don't want to share the stream of hot water.
I like peeling skin too, only on myself though. :O
