Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

How old are they and do they
How old are they and do they live with you?
It's okay to feel that way.
It's okay to feel that way. They're not yours, despite your husbands wish for you to be that mom to them.
Do they live with you
Do they live with you fulltime
I know how you feel, my wife
I know how you feel, my wife wants me to be involved with my stepsons school and sports activities but I can't stand being with him for 30 seconds, simply because he knows it all he has seen it all at the age of 13, my wife joins in the activity he tells her know mommy you are wrong no mom no mom that's not it, just drives me bananas  also bed time is at 9 o'clockhe will find anyway to stay up past 9, weather it is I need a bowl of cereal, they're all of a sudden he is interested in anything on tv, I could do you watching the science channel, which coincidentally he hates, but after 9 o'clock he likes it
