DH has primary placement of SD now and BM has yet to come to grips with it. Her new stance apparently is that she refuses to do anything for SD that has to do with her new school in our district. Basically she's decided that since SD chose to go to school here with us then BM isn't going to do anything to help SD if it has to do with her new school.

BM has SD overnight every Thursday - BM picks up from school and returns SD to school Friday morning. So last week SD tells her mom when she picks she picks her up that she needs two 12 packs of soda for a class party the next day. MOTY tells her she won't get them because that's now DH's responsibility. So SD sends us a text asking us to get them, our response was that since we don't see her again before Friday after school just have her mom get them. She then tells us what her BM has said to her. DH was pissed and I was just amazed that a woman could do that to her own child! So, we tell her that if BM doesn't change her mind in the morning then we will take care of it.

Sure enough, BM doesn't come through for her daughter. So, the woman who has no job can't be bothered to spend $10 bucks and 5 minutes of her time to do something for her child. But, the SM who works full time and has a full schedule uses her 30 minute lunch break to run to the store and drop sodas off at the school for her SD because it was the right thing to do. And BM wonders why SD wants to live with us.......DUH!

I'm happy to say that SD and DH were both very grateful to me for doing so and I'd do it again in a heart beat. I will just never understand how these women who claim to be such great moms can continue to use their kids as pawns in their game of hatred.
