He called last night to say that he and another boy were play fighting with sticks and the other kid hit him in the thumb so hard that it swelled up and it was throbbing. Bm took him to the er but he just pulled a muscle.

Then ss11 called this am to tell dh that he is home today b/c it hurts too much to go to school! Dh was really mad b/c he has pain meds and he was feeling and talking fine and there was no reason to keep him home except to drill in him that he can use any excuse to be lazy. He is just so upset that bm is teaching them that any little thing is worthy of an excuse to be lazy just like her.
