O/T Must Have Summer Wardobe Items

Seeing it's summer here in the northern hemisphere and will soon be summer in the southern hemisphere, what wardrobe item can you not be without?

For me it's high end black flip flops. Not the cheapies but the high arch support or massaging type that won't blow out a strap when you step in a pit in your yard (I have lots of moguls in my one acre and uneven terrain)

What are some items that you must have?

Sandals, sandals and more sandals! I love Sandals! I have pretty much every color, every style, every heel height.. can never have too many sandals. Also hair ties. My hair likes to act the fool when the weather gets humid, so I have hair ties around everywhere.. purse, desk, car just in case it's one of THOSE days

Jockey Skimmies! I work in high end jewelry and wear skirts/dresses daily for work. They are similar to bike shorts, so no thigh chafing. Most of my skirts are maxi skirts, so this eliminates wearing a slip or pantyhose, too.

Also....spray deodorant/antipersperant. I spray my feet and let them dry before I put my shoes on for the day. Saves my shoes from being sweaty when I don't wear my little footie socks (some days it's just too damn hot for them).

I love skimmies!! I wear them year round with dresses and skirts. I don't wear hose much anymore, even in the winter.

My sun dresses, especially the ones I can get away with out having to wear a bra and it won't be noticeable. Smile

I wish I was still young enough for sundresses. I loved them.

I wear skirts a lot in the summer as I'm too old for most shorts and a lot of capris can be very matronly.
