Nothing has changed

I've been asked to give an update on my situation with SD 17.
Some of you may remember me...
Well, not a darn thing has changed.
She still has internet access 24/7.
Still isn't working.
Still sleeps until 2:00 pm every day.
Still has to be told to do her chore ALL the time after all these years.
Still can make a role of toilet paper last two months. Yuck...
Still smells the house up with her BO.
Still leaves food messes just like a child.
Still eats everything in sight.
Still has daddy believing every word she says.
Still dresses like a street walker.

I am still disengaged, and trying my best to not resent my DH for being such a wimpy parent. He prefers to keep his head in the sand. If I bring anything up to him, his only response is, she'll be alright.
I seriously doubt it. She didn't even know that you have to switch your bright lights on in the car in order for them to work! BTW, she is driving now.

Hi Notacelebration!
So good to see you here. I'm sorry SD hasn't grasped the concept of wiping her butt yet. Ew!
You know what they say, once a piglet always a piglet
Take care,
Amber

Ugh...so frustrating! And so scary that Miss Clueless is driving now! I'm sorry, one should figure out how to wipe one's arse before being given the keys to a car. Oh, wait...that means HHB would never get to drive, either. What is it with these girls and their hygiene? I mean, seriously!

Umm, gross! The only consolation I can think is that 17-20 was the peak of my sd's obnoxiousness, so this time will be over soon.

Hopefully her smell will prevent anyone from getting her pg? thats all I got Sad

Unfortunately they will never change. For your sake (and not because they shouldn't change too) you will need to change by removing yourself from caring how skid is allowed to live (unless it directly involved you and yours). Then finding your coping mechanism that allows you to have a great life in spite of them. Letting go is not easy but for your sanity is necessary. Good luck!
