Dont you hate it when it works to be like your mom?

I'm 4(mumble mumble mumble) years old and the little part of me that's still 16-years-old me hates it when my mom turns out to be right...especially when it's a current situation similar to one when I was 16.

What happened? My DS14 was trying to get out of going to his sports practice tonight. Rather than force him, I asked him a series of questions about how he would decide/if he was okay with certain scenarios. Like: you asked to skip last week because it was the end of the quarter and you had a lot of last-day tests to study for but you promised you would got today as an additional day to make up for it...Its not up to me but you have to decide if you want to go back on your promise.

My mom asked me hard, moral questions like that and I hated it. And it apparently works like nothing else because I'm writing this from the gym while I'm waiting for him to do his thing.

Damn you and thank you, mom.
