LOL...she has been staying under the radar since revealing to DH that emo is now her girlfriend. She is supposed to have a free weekend this weekend, but I haven't heard a peep as to whether there are any plans for her to come over. I'm praying that there is another excuse! I mean, it is the weekend...time to hang out with the girlfriend, right? And coming to our house will mean having to go to church, unless she finds some way to only come Friday night and make DH take her home Saturday. With HHB's girlfriend being a proclaimed athiest, and now the simple fact that she is "into girls", I think HHB will be trying to avoid church like the plague! Especially considering HHB is still avoiding my MIL, and going to church means having to face my MIL!
I'm enjoying HHB staying away. It's hard to read DH on the issue. With all that has happened in the last month, and the roads HHB is going down...I really don't know. What I do know is that we have been enjoying having an adult life. We go out Wednesday nights with friends to this pub where we enjoy a game of trivia. We don't have to worry about when to be home, what is going on at home while we aren't there, etc. I have noticed that DH has stopped trying to call or text HHB every day...this is a positive, actually.
I still don't know how much the stupid dentist is going to cost, but I get this feeling that morning didn't go well with HHB in general. Court is next week, so I should have some more to report then. }:)
It's just been so pleasant in this house!!! No drama. It stays clean! It's been wonderful!

Does anyone know what happened to TGHIB (sp)? We were all eagerly waiting to see what happened with her SD and the homecoming dress....then poof, gone. I figured that her DH might have found her posts?
Looked at the phone records this morning to try to brace myself for the POSSIBILITY of HHB coming. So far, NO contact between DH and HHB all week. Hmmm...makes you wonder what the hell HHB said to DH, but I'm holding out positive thought that this means NO HHB this weekend! I know from looking at the school's web site that she is busy for the next 4 weekends with color guard competitions...this is a plus. I was thinking of suggesting to DH that we take a little road trip and go to the zoo about 150 miles away...it has been ages since I have been to a zoo, and DH has been saying we need to do another day out with the cameras. UGH...stupid weather forcast calls for rain tomorrow! I was so looking forward to presenting him with the plan tonight! Figured I would wait to see if he walked through the door with HHB tonight or not, as I would hate to tell him of a fun plan too early, and him get the bright idea that he needs to invite the girl because it would make for a fun weekend for her! Can't give him too much advance notice on these things.
Oh...there are those, too. But I got to thinking yesterday that I really, really want to drive down and go to the zoo while we have a break in the freezing temps...LOL. It's also been a while since I've had a day out with the camera...also because of HHB. Every time I wanted to do a photography day DH would insist that HHB had to come along. The day would turn into about 2 hours tops before HHB started complaining she was bored and wanted to go shopping or something! Yet, she will often claim to be into photography and will bug DH for a $3,000 camera every time we ever went to Best Buy!
I was looking at the forecast. It looks like there will be light showers during the day on and off, and most the rain will be in the evening...when we are already heading home. So, I'm thinking about still proposing the trip. Maybe we can take a change of clothing and do a date night down there before heading home (only about a 2 hour drive), as they have a river walk area. I haven't been to the zoo since getting my good camera equipment, so I really want to try to get some cool pictures of the animals.
Looks like DH tried to get hold of HHB after he got off work today, and she is doing her typical ignoring him. I told DH what I wanted to do tomorrow, and made it clear to him that I intended it to be an outing for ONLY the two of us (in case he got the night idea of trying to talk HHB into us picking her up on our way out, and dropping her off on our way home). I don't want her to know we are doing anything! I know one of her reasons for not coming over is that she doesn't want to sit around the house...but go out shopping, etc. She also knows DH won't just let her take off with her girlfriend!
