Co-Worker Still Not Out Yet.. .

What a difference from the private sector where you get a box and 15 minutes to get out. She's leisurely shredding stuff, going back and forth between insulting me and asking if I want a set of FLOPPY DISKS with Windows NT on them! Biggrin

She has a list of demands before she officially moves:

1. keep all the access that is associated with the 'handsome men in uniform' dept
(nope, boss took that away on Friday)

2. not use her car to move any of her stuff to the new office
3. be "officially" provided with boxes (we have them all around us)
4. get an "official" tour of her new area by the boss (and not a co-worker)
5. get "official" documentation on the new depts she will be supporting (umm, it's there)

And THIS is why I have a problem with UNIONS!

Not sure about what she means by "official" but she's been spoiled from day one here. Everyone is afraid to cross her.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Sounds familiar!

I'm confused by this as well. If management has transferred her a new position, how is the union keeping this from happening in a timely manner? Seems like a management problem to me.

Probably because it is a Public sector union. She is CONSTANTLY grieving every.little.thing and it gets play.
