So what do you all think about this?

Halle Berry comes across as REALLY high conflict.

I dont agree with the dad coloring the girls hair. But I would also like to know what exactly it means by "coloring" it. Was it temporary spray in stuff for kids? Just something for fun?

Does Halle know his intentions of why he colored her hair? She already has really light hair anyways.

Honestly her hair is VERY similar to mine, except its lighter. But my hair is naturally curly just like hers.

Seriously! Never ever touch the hair and never ever pierce the ears for cripes sake people! This is Dealing with Skids 101!

When I straighten my naturally curly hair, I in no way whatsoever think any less of myself. LOL.

I guess I dont see what the curly hair has to do with being black or if the dad wants to straighten it, how that makes her less black. Is there an issue if he wants to put it in a pony tail, braid, bun????

No one gets upset when someone with straight hair adds some curl to it.

Hair coloring at this age I am against.

Did he straighten it- with like a straigtening iron???? Or did he put straightner/relaxer in the hair???

I think the real problem was entirely passed over in Halle's desire to "win one.". coloring the hair of a child that age IS a poor parenting decision.

She is a loon, the highest level of GUBMs. When she wanted to move the daughter out of the country to France, her then fiancé, Olivier Martinez tried to bait the ExBF into a fist fight. It was all so Halle could use that against him in court. Backfired!

Dh always says that no matter how beautiful a woman is, there is a man somewhere that is tired of her crap. Berry seems to have a nice list of men that are tired of her crap.

I love how she says that he did it to make the child think that there's something wrong with being African American. That's Halle's take on it - not necessarily the father's intentions. The father might have just thought it would be fun for his daughter to go to the salon for the day and try something new with her look.

This same kind of crap goes on with our BM. She takes something that we've done and decides what our reason behind it was.

They also live in a world where kids are getting boob and nose jobs at 16 and botox lip injections before 18. I don't think that its a good thing that he did it but he's probably like most dads who knows absolutely nothing about girls and their hair. The girl probably asked for it and he probably did it not even thinking about it. Halle just seems like she's looking for something to cause problems about.

I think feeding kids McDonald's is a poor parenting decision too, but for crying out loud is it court worthy?

I wouldn't dye a kid's hair, but I remember reading that Ann Landers' mom dyed her hair (the kid's) from around 2 or 3. She was married to the kid's dad. Bad decisions transcend divorce, and, clearly, decades.

I would call her high conflict if this was just a hair cut or something.

BUT.....he put chemicals to highlight the 6 year old's hair and chemically straightened it.

I would be pissed too. WTF was he thinking by highlighting and chemically straightening a 6 year old's hair?
