SD 27 constant selfies on FB

Ruby55's picture

What us wrong with people constantly posting in close pictures of their faces on Facebook. My SD thinks she's the cats meow,it's a new one every other day, posing and pouting to the camera. I find it physically sickening. She's so stuck on herself. Her mother actually told her a few years ago she is so beautiful she can have anyone she wants. I guess she forgot to tell her that an education, some skills, a job......might be more important. Every guy dumps her! The pictures are unbelievable Amazing someone can be so stuck on themselves!!!

Don't look. I know it's like a train wreck and you can't help it but that's the only way to pretend she's halfway decent

I get it. they turn up with so much attitude in your life and they love their selfies. it is sort of fascinating and horrifying. Agree with the other poster though. it is a train wreck. Turn away!

I think it's also supposed to be considered somewhat artistic for the hipster crowd. Which is just an accepted excuse to be narcissistic IMO. I think it's obvious that it's a "I look good" moment. I remember having those back in the day Smile

Its typical for most young adults/teens/kids these days to be obsessed with how they look and how many "likes" they can get. It gives them self worth and makes them feel better about themselves I guess.

My SD23 posts selfies multiple times per week. Most of them with puckered lips. I think it's common nowadays. It's annoying. A selfie every now and then is fine, but constantly posting pictures of yourself looks so narcissistic. I would love to say it's insecurity, but she's so full of herself that I'm not so sure about that. She is also constantly breaking up and getting back together with this one guy, and when they're together, she posts pictures of the two of them, with captions saying "What a beautiful rave couple we are!!". Gag.

Lol, I don't stalk her. It shows up unfortunately! Hard not to look when it's in your face!! My point is GET A LIFE. OR A JOB INSTEAD OF CALLING US FOR MONEY AND TAKING PICS OF YOUR MUG!!

Since you find it physically sickening, it would make sense to hide her from your newsfeed. Problem solved. No more feeling sick.
