Yeah this flu is bad enough that I am drinking nyquil straight from the bottle at 930am.

I NEVER call out of work. Ever. Pneumonia? Bronchitis etc? I work through it.

I went home early yesterday.
I am staying home today.

One thing I want to avoid is transferring their drama crap to my house.

This is it, exactly. Once your house becomes open to any of them, well, they see it as being open to them. It's no longer yours, it's theirs, too. And BM will start dropping them there.

Having them over (even your DH) negates your whole purpose of buying this house. They will not take you seriously (again) if you let them bring their drama to your new home.
