Maybe i am being shallow,but i feel the solution is live with but don't remarry anyone with children !!!!

I really believe this....I stuck to my NO MEN WITH KIDS rule for many many years, despite having my own Children. Family and Friends used to call me selfish and hypocritical...Not at all, I told all up front that I don't date people with kids....

I do this too! I feel as though I have to warn my friends by telling them my "war" stories. And of course they are shocked since they all think of the Brady Bunch as the blue print.

Originally, one of them (I think Carol?) was supposed to have been divorced but then the station that picked it up made them make it so both spouses were dead because it was more "acceptable". Can you imagine if we'd had to see "well, it's the boys weekend with their mom" and the biomom and Mike all taking the kids fishing together? :sick:
Alice was a presence in the Brady household. She delt with the children's arguments, cleaning up after them, and seemed to be right on top of schedules. The mom just had to look pretty and be social for dad . He worked, made lots of money to spend and from the looks of her wardrobe, house and car, she did an excellant job of keeping the ecconomy going strong.
In real life stepmoms have failed to demand an ALice as part of the marriage contract. As well as demanding a great dh with a big bucks job . Tv life ...so much better then real life.
