She has been warned!

CantKeepDoingThis's picture

For weeks now, SheSloth has not been taking her key when she leaves for school. I told her today that this was the LAST time I was answering the door! From now on, and I don't care if it is raining, I am going to ignore her knocking and she can sit out there until I feel like getting up to unlock the door! Unfortunately, the rest of the week she will not be coming straight home. Otherwise, I would love to be gone every day when she gets home! Seems next Tuesday I need to be somewhere, as that seems to be the only day she comes straight home any more.

Grade reports come out soon. I'm praying that SheSloth has a failing grade! If she does, she loses her spot in the band show! Am I mean? Another reason that this would be so awesome? The new boyfriend is supposedly in the band. Which means, if she fails and loses her spot, she will NOT get to go to games on Friday nights and hang out with him! Bwahahahahaha!

Hehe! No, DH and I want SS15 to fail this quarter BAD. He needs to be held accountable already instead of coddled every freakin' year!

If you're mean, so am I. And I don't care! Biggrin

my fiance is salivating waiting to see the first grades coming in for my SD.

although i dont understand why. if she does poorly its not like he will do anything about it other than send a nasty email to BM that will be ignored.

Well, I'm pretty sure that this isn't going to be like last school year! First grade report of last year she made the A/B honor roll...that was the last time! It all went down hill from there! Of course, it was the first grade period while living with us this stint. It was putting on a show for dear daddy. Just shows she can get good grades if she wants...she doesn't want to, because, well, that means actually having to work!

I really could care less about her grades, but that evil stepmom side of me would love to see her get a failing report so she has to sit out of guard! It may be mean, bit with her attitude toward everyone...especially the guard girls...I think it is only fitting! I mean, if I had any say, she wouldn't even be in guard any more based mainly on the way she talks crap about the other girls all the time. My thinking is if you can't respect your teammates, then maybe you shouldn't be part of the squad! You don't have to agree with everything they do, but you at least have to have enough respect to not talk crap about them behind their backs all the time and try to start drama!

At least with poorer grades, I don't have to deal with her report card being stuck on the fridge! Yeah, that A/B honor roll one was on the fridge all last school year, and I wasn't allow to take it down until summer. How old is SheSloth? 5?

Oh, both SheSloth and DH insisted the report card stay up there! SheSloth liked to look at it and comment, "I can't believe I made honor roll!" DH wanted it to stay up when her grades started dropping as "motivation"! How's this for motivation...if she doesn't keep her grades up, stuff gets taken away! Internet, phone privs, etc. When will these Disney Parents realize that positive motivation doesn't really work for poor behavior? Kids respond to consequences!

LOL...of course, that may only work if she actually used the fridge! She is still starving herself, for the most part...and DH is doing nothing (he lets her sit in her room all evening, and never tells her to eat something). She MAY eat lunch...at least the money in her lunch account is being used, but that is no guarantee that she is actually eating the food. She hasn't touched any food while at home! ONLY time I see her eat anything is if we get food out, which is maybe twice a week (Saturday morning, and after church on Sunday). Oh, that's right...the food I buy is too healthy!

I want SD13 to do poorly too, but I keep opening my mouth and doing the right thing, telling her and DH that there is an assignment missing etc. I am being quiet now that it's mid-term. If SD13 skated by in 3 classes just because I spoke up, then she will sink without my incessant bitching.

OK, so I have to stop bitching! LOL }:)

Oh, but I was the good kid in school, and we didn't get do-overs! Guess I'm being loud now to make up for my past.

SD13 and I are off today for the Jewish holiday, and last night and this morning, the first times I saw her, she was being a moron. I called her out on it and told her what she needed to do. Then this morning I was like, "Fuck it. Let DH see that there is a full gallon of milk because SD13 won't drink any. Let him see how many holes are in her head besides the obvious one, when she has cavities from not brushing." Such a moron. I am going to enjoy my day watching this stupid new show called Eutopia, lol.

Livin' the dream! }:)
