What will this custody weekend bring, I wonder?

Anyone care to predict what their skids will come home with this fine weekend??? LOL

I came home last night and DH did laundry (which he never does), washing all the bedding in preparation for SD8's next trip to BabyLand, wetting the bed and eating baby food and talking baby talk...again. (Me thinks DH does not like to sleep with her nasty smelling- unwashed for days- baby butt in a puddle of well aged pee from last week- and nope, I did NOT wash the sheets and even told the maid to NOT enter any kids' rooms, they are not her concern, I am not paying for behavior that these girls are encouraged to display...).

I also found DH vacuuming their rooms because their floors were nasty and full of cereal and food from last week.

Bios and I went out to a nice dinner on a terrace with my girlfriends. I do not even care if I come home to DH grumbling about having to do a job that HE THINKS a step mom should do...LOL (because Step Moms also build pyramids for a bowl of food haha).

Ugh

I do the same thing. We have a houselcleaner to help with the main areas. SS14's room smells like a gym locker. i TYPICAlly tell her not to bother in there - occasionally I'll ask her to vacuum or dust, and nothing else. I feel bad. it stinks, it's gross, he doesn't do his laundry, throw his leftover lunch in the kitchen garbage, etc.

I do tidy my own kid's rooms. and I'll ask the housecleaner to help in their rooms on occasion. Still, their rooms do not have an odor eminating from them and even though they are not tidy, they are not disgusting.

I do the same thing! Housekeeper doesn't even go in there except for the floors! I have beautiful hardwood and want o keep them like that.

I'm pretty sure SS15 will arrive tonight in the usual "let's pretend Dad and Ghost don't exist" mode. Whatever. Makes my life easier when I don't have to do shit for him. If I don't exist, neither do my dinner-making, cookie-baking, laundry-doing services.

I had to smile. I keep calling myself The Ghost in my mind lately because of your posts.

I stopped doing anything for them lately too, what's the point? They will always hate me, no matter what I do. The house is sparking clean when my bios are there for days, while the skids can turn it into a bloody mess in one hour- perfume, nail polish, hair ties, baby food, junk food, food, crap everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Ugh I don't even want to go home those days.

I thought I was too harsh for not cleaning my SKIDs room. i used to until I realised that even after cleaning dad doesn't do anything to maintain the rooms.

When they get older it will be hell - but something tells me I'd have left by then. Sad
