Dear God, SD won't STFU!

Good Lord, it's not like this is a new development or anything, but I just need to vent about it today cuz I'm going to blow!!!!!
SD11 won't shut up. She repeats things over and over and over again. Whether it's talking about things she did over last week at BM's, talking about her new shaving routine (just started shaving her legs), talk about how to do something, like 5 times. Anyways, she will literally come up to you and talk about shit you really don't care about and you're just yeah "yeah SD, uh huh SD, get out of the kitchen SD you already told me that SD," then she will actually go to her dad and start the same conversation right back up. Her mind has always been on repeat and it is so damn annoying!

Generally, I take time to sit down with her and let her talk to me about her girl issues and offer support, on issues with BM too. But when she talks about stupid shit I can be pretty dismissive and sometimes I feel bad, but it's so freaking annoying. What the heck am I supposed to do you know?! Just stop everything I'm doing and listen to her tell me things over and over again?! Lol

We're going on an overnight camping trip this weekend. First time. And we were putting off telling them because we knew she would NOT STFU about it. Well we told today, and sure enough she's obsessed and talking about it... Planning/suggesting things etc. Just let us handle it!!!

Growl!!!!!

I'm in the same exact shitty boat my SD is 11 and she truly is annoying. After I told her how annoying she was she got the message. She kept asking how come I don't have any friends nobody wants to be my friend . I told her point blank your annoying. You talk about non revelant things and most of time your incorrect AND you whine. Of course I got a blank stare but with a closed mouth.Try telling her the truth she will be mad but she will think before speaking next time at least to you lol.

Lol Yeah, normal for the age, but still annoying! If you think about it, while it all seems trivial and irrelevant to you it's definitely not to her - she has so little life experience to compare it to, that stuff seems huge to her.

FWIW, it mostly seems to slow down around puberty, depending on the kid. (Not me. My mom says if anything I got MORE chatty when I hit high school! I must've driven her batty.) My sisters and my SDs though stopped the non-stop talking around freshman year.
