Just don't f*cking touch it!
Last night I woke up and it was freezing in the house. I sleep with DH AKA the human heater and 2 furbabies, I should NEVER be cold. I went to check the thermostat and it was on 58 AGAIN! I know it is SS that is doing it. DS5 doesn't know what it is and DH wouldn't turn it down that low. DH has repeatedly told SS not to touch it. I have to pay a 330.00 electric bill this month because of this sh!t. Now DH is mad because he saw an email pick up confirmation showing that I'm going to get a lock box thingy to go over the thermostat. When he asked I said I am going to deal with this my way I try very hard to be patient and not go ballistic when I have to repeat myself but I want to scream "DON'T TOUCH THE FUCKING THERMOSTAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Rant over...

LOL well I am the one who does the budget and actually logs in and pays the bill. Believe me when I say that the lion share of the money will be coming from DH. I've asked him to handle it and he hasn't so he will be paying most of the bill. SS should just not touch the damn thing. It just irritates me that he thinks he can do whatever he wants in my house.

LMAO! sorry hun, but i can TOTALLY relate... dh and i have had the exact.same.conversation about various things that affect our budget. like TURN THE FUCKING LIGHT OUT when you come out of the bathroom!!!! this happens EVERY NIGHT. also- the flourescent tank light is PLENTY sufficient, you dont need the TV on, overhead light on, ceiling fan on, and additional nightlight - TURN THE FUCKING LIGHTS/TV OFF!!!!!

I told DH I was seriously close to an outburst like the couch situation. (SS stuffs his dirty socks and candy wrappers in my couch. One day I lost my sh!t when my hand touched a wrapper. I started screaming and throwing the couch cushions and ranting about bugs and trash and dirty socks.)DH was quiet for a minute and said he'd install the lock box when I get home. I don't know why but they all freak out when I lose it. Even the dogs hide. Probably because I don't usually yell.

i've lost my shit before with junk/clothes/trash everywhere, i told them ALL, dh included, that they had an hour to put away correctly whatever shit they wanted to keep and i was throwing everything else out. 30 minute warning, 15 minute warning, 10 minute warning. then i filled two giant trash bags and hauled them out to the car (we dont have trash service). dh freaked out, came running out to the car. with a quiet, hissing rage i told him- "i freaking told you AND them, with plenty of time and plenty of warning. i'm SICK of this shit, we've talked about it over and over and over, and there's still shit everywhere. i'm D.O.N.E done. you havent fixed the problem or handled the situation, NOW I DO IT MY WAY."
