dad of autistic boy confronts his bully
Did you hear about this?
http://news.yahoo.com/dad-pummeled-11-old-kid-bullying-9-old-140217575.html
I think it's unfortunate that it had to come to that. Maybe if the boy's aunt, the school ad/or his parents stepped up this wouldn't have happened. Maybe the dad went overboard but I think most of us would in defending our kids.
I hope this bully will think twice in the future before he bullies again.
I also think this is relevant to this site because some sks are like this. Not all, but some. They incorrectly believe they can keep dishing out crap and everyone will take it, and the parents keep believing the kids don't do that, or just refuse to do anything about that.
These parents need to pull their heads out of the sand before situations come to a head like this did.

Yes, I saw that. I think
Yes, I saw that. I think maybe Dad went overboard, but I understand his anger and frustration. Most schools don't do a thing when you complain to them about such things…at some point, a Dad needs to defend his kid.
In regards to:
"I hope this bully will think twice in the future before he bullies again." - I CAN ASSURE YOU that NEVER AGAIN will he bully another kid lol
And yes, poor kid lives with aunt which means more than likely he has shitty parents…sadly, also a shitty aunt.
And yes, I agree…what MANY of us put up with is truly bullying from these freaking BMs, skids, ILs and sometimes even DHs…at some point, people get fed up…no doubt. I am fed up. Haven't whacked anyone and won't but ONLY because I don't look good in ORANGE
, but a big "f34%$%ck off has happened to a few and anyone else who dares harass me again with all this mess, will get it as well…tired just tired.
That's sad. Maybe this dad
That's sad. Maybe this dad could do something to start raising awareness about bullying and encourage his son's school to start really teaching kids about bullying. And maybe he could enlist the help of the bully in trying to stop bullying.
Absolutely was this adult in
Absolutely was this adult in the wrong.
Unfortunately I think his frustration is not unusual.
There are so many children without adequate appropriate adult supervision. It's really sad.
I think if there were enough adults on that bus, the bullying wouldn't happen. Same like with that bus monitor who was targeted by three tween boys. One driver, one monitor, 30 kids with no self-imposed limits. Lord of the Flies waiting to happen.
In Toronto, during the Great Depression, the transit authority hired a bunch of women to act as conductors, to ensure the good conduct of passengers. This was necessary because of so much social unrest that people were essentially rioting on the the streetcars. I feel strongly that our kids deserve at least enough adults, paying attention, in their lives to keep things from getting so vicious.
But so many kids are almost left to raise themselves.
"But so many kids are almost
"But so many kids are almost left to raise themselves."
That's the sad part. I'm sure it's the case for the bully. I think it's happening to many sks on this site.
Each person who will become a parent should be made to undergo parenting classes and take tests before their kids are born.
This Dad was as much a bully
This Dad was as much a bully as the kid he was mad at for bullying.
Any man that puts his hands on a child- WTF? And this other kid was special needs as well?
