I'm counting down the days to our weekend with SD5. I used to absolutely dread the time that she was here, now I feel that I just don't prefer it. We've come a long way in the past year or so, and our home is livable once more.

Disengaging with SD was the best decision I've made in this relationship, and has done much to improve our living situation while she's here. At first I resented not having a husband when she was around, now I look at it as an opportunity to do my own thing.

Trying to stay positive as DH's weekend rolls around.
