Biodad shows up without warning and spoils stepdads plans to spend time with stepson.
Jay (stepdad) goes to a horse betting track with his stepson (manny) AND Javier(the mostly absent bio dad) because gloria (bio mom) insists that she does not trust biodad alone with her son...

Argh,... This post was much longer, I don't know why it only posted half.
Modern family only shows the humor side of it all,... I don't know any stepdad and bio dad that would spend a saturday together to spend time with the kid...
It would just be nice to have a real life representation...
Most of our lives are not a sitcom.
