Well, it's only taken a few years for us to get to this point but I may have to agree that SS actually likes me now.

He was such a twit when I first came into the picture but it was really just because his BM who had been absent fr 7 years and magically decided to show back up when I came in the picture, was feeding his head with garbage ad telling him to be mean to me. So he did.

But, now tht he has been havin regular EOWe visitation with his mother and he's lived with me for the past year and a half, he sees how much I do for him and my children and, especially when you compare it to what bm does, he has finally put it all together. Step Off is not the bad guy here.

SS is really in to fashion (as am I). His dad is challenged in that area and bm is a jeans and oversize t shirt person. In trendy an ss13 thinks he's a hipster. I bought him his shirt ad tie for family pics and he LOVES it- to say the least.

I also invited him to cme along with me, dd12 ad her friend to a concert this week. It'll be his first. He's way excited.

He told us he missed all of us last night when we picked him up. He also told dh that he had tO say good nightti me before going up to bed.

Wow. It's taken a while, but this kid really has warmed up to me.
