CMT's Worlds Strictest Parents
Has anyone seen this show yet? It's basically about teens who are out of control or close to it and their parents have had enough and send them to live with a totally different family for a week, in hopes that they will change their ways? I watched three episodes back to back about this show. Some kids live with one parent, some both, some a stepparent is in the picture. And the entitlement! OMG I just kept thinking of the blogs on this website. It was amazing!
The families that take these kids in, they have the right idea though. Work, respect, no drugs, phones, etc, and if you fight it, you work more, your punishment is grosser work, harder work, etc...but they aren't slave drivers and *most* of the kids on the show actually seemed to develop a sense of work ethic and pride in something other than what can be handed to them.
Like I said these people had the right idea...

Oh I'm sure some of the "good kids" are for show, it's a reality show...I just really liked the tactics that were being used on the show to try and get the troubled kids on the right track.
There was a 16 year old girl, beautiful girl, and before she went to live with the strict family for the week, she literally wore a tiara, had designer clothes I could not DREAM of affording, and said she was going to be a model, or find a rich man to take care of her. I was like, ohhhhhh crap. I do not want by BD to wind up like that because everyone else in the family spoils her and BS stupid and yes I spoil her but FDH and I do have boundaries...
