So, I found this website and love it'. It helps me know these issues aren't just mine. I'm so tired of always being 2nd to his kids. I've tried explaining to my hubby that if he wants our marriage to work he has to put effort into it. We have 4 kids in our household, mine who are Jr high and high school and his are there 1/2 time and in grade school.I read the doctor Phil quote someone has to my hubby... He said "that's definitely wrong my kids are always 1st". Bad thing is, his kids 1st, me 2nd,my kids fall 3rd. Seriously?!?! I'm so tired of this. I have been in counseling for 6 months, my counselor agrees that he needs to make me a priority in his life.. He refuses to go with me to counseling BTW/guessing cuz he won't like what he'd hears.. I didn't marry my husband to be there 1/2 time. He says I act different when his kids are around-generally he does. I only get attention when kids are asleep. Forget even trying to sit with him -impossible he won't even sit near me. Sooooo tired of this. I honestly feel like I'm really not important in his life.
