Yuck wishing dh happy bday

purpledaisies's picture

Not sure how I feel about that. We went to straight away talk to save money. Dh had a hard time with getting a phone and the # so yuck thinks my # is dh #. No biggie but she just text saying 'I just realised it's ur bday so happy bday.'

I don't think I like that that much. Yeah we have been getting a long fairly well lately but hardly close enough in my opinion to say happy birthday.

I text dh and let him know. He said sorry. I I asked how he felt about it but it's soon to know as I just sent it.

I know I have a wonderful time husband. I have never done that to my exh. I remember when it is but I would never wish him happy bday not my place any more. Why can't others get it

I agree with you. Why can't others get it? This happens to us every year on dh's bday. And she has also resorted to texting us and sending us recorded voice messages from SS and her wishing US a happy anniversary. That's just freaking creepy. . . She needs to go bye-bye now and leave your dh and his bday in peace.

I didn't respond and I know dh won't. I hope she gets it when no one says thanks. }:)

We all text happy bday to each other. This year I forgot my ex's and I really felt bad. Mostly because I had the kids with me, and I should have told them to call sooner.. but I remember late at night and I felt really bad.

It doesn't bother me. Perfect strangers in restaurants wish me a happy birthday if they check my ID....Then again, we don't ahve a hostile relationship.

Ha! I just posted about this sorta thing today. Our BM has resorted to texts, emails & gifts from her to my DH for all occasions. These women are nuts & dont get boundaries!!!
