I actually think I should get SD something she really wants and make sure she knows I picked it out. Then she'll have to struggle with wanting to use it but also wanting to pretend it sucks and never touching it because I picked it out for her.

Jk, I wouldnt waste my money on that.

b/c Chef couldn't afford to finance a phone call when he was paying MASSIVE CS were thrown in the burn pile by the Animal Torturer (SD21).  They were also rejected the moment they were received under direction and to the delighted squeals of the Gir.

I've actually never seen any evidence BM is the one behind SDs hatred of me. I mean she might be, but theres never been any single piece of evidence to show that.

All I know is everything I have gotten her in the last probably 2 years has been tossed aside with an "ew" look. Last year I got her headphones for her tablet (so I dont have to listen to it or her babbling at it) but she didnt know they were from me. DH told MIL in front of her I picked them out and all of a sudden she went from wearing them every day to never touching them again. She wont wear any clothes from our house unless MIL bought them because I might have picked them out. And if she HAS to wear shoes or something from us, then she comes back with a "better" pair from BMs and makes sure we know it.

It's just a waste, might as well be lighting money on fire. I no longer buy her anything outside of the minimum for holidays and I've taken to picking out things for her that I know she will like but is also beneficial to me in some way (like the headphones). 

Oh, and also the last 2 years on her birthday when my mom has given her a gift shes started going off about what she got from HER grandma or mom instead of a thank you - clearly saying "they're better than you."

Consider making a charitable donation in the narc's, uh, skid's name. Maybe to a children's charity that helps foster kids? The kid won't be able to complain without looking like a complete wanker.

Get her a charger and cord with her name on it, this way she will know which one is hers.

yeah, I thought about getting SDs subscription boxes to something years ago, but decided that they wouldn't give a cr!p and I dropped that idea forever.  However, that is a GREAT idea for my niece!

I only buy for SD13, she gets stocking stuffers from DH & I (this may be the last year of it though since 50% of the stuff didn't get eaten or used...but one more go is ok, I'll just make sure the stuff is disposable), once gift cert from me and one "gifty" item from me - maybe.  I'm undecided on this since she simply doesn't care about things.

I'm also just guessing that SD15 (stb16!) will make an appearance at the counselor's office just in time for her birthday and Xmas.

I got BS lootcrate one year for Christmas and it was worth it, he enjoyed it for many years and then when he turned 18 I cancelled it.

I have tried Ipsy, the Sephora Play, and FabFitFun, while I enjoyed them I only had them for about a year and then realized I was overrun with sample size make-ups I would never wear. The FabFitFun box had a lot of really nice stuff, but it was the most expensive subscription out of them all.

For a skid I wouldn't even waste my money, let DH waste his money on crap like that.
