What would you do? Advice, please!
If you had a child (12) who was always lying about other people and talking behind their backs what would you do? Do you think it would be wrong to make the child call the people (adults) and admit their lies? I am thinking about doing this with SD12 because I am just so tired of the lies and manipulations!

Did it make a difference? I've done it with SD12 and my cousin, who she lied about. Nothing changed!
Now, she's lying about her biological maternal family. I hate the lying and manipulations!
Go get her a small pocket
Go get her a small pocket size note pad. And hand her a pen. Grounded from talking.anything she wants to say has to be written down. Neat handwriting or you tear it up and throw out her note. Let her know you will be checking all information as she us a proven liar and you can't trust her. A lot of kids who do lie hate being called a liar and once you call them out and name them... letting them know you believe nothing they say they switch gears ands if the lying doesnt stop it at least calms down a lot.

I posted this same question on Facebook, last night, wanting the opinions of people who know me and SD12. Wrong decision! My Facebook blew up, my family against SD's biological family!
