I just heard the results and they dont know what it is. They want him to have a cat scan. She said it is not a limph node but they want to do the cat scan to see what it is.

I am so scard and crying right now i dont know what to do. Dh doesnt want anyone to know yet til they know for sure but im going crazy with no one to talk too.

Doss anyone know what this means or possiblities??? Sad

I seriously thing if it is not a lymph node, than it could be a fibroma....They are always benign. But, a pain in the but...

My daughter had a swelling in the same place. It turned out to be fat. Yup, she has additional breast tissue under her arm. Apparently it is more common than you think.
Purple, don't be scared. He will be fine. She had an MRI & an Ultrasound & X-rays.

I had an incredibly painful very large lump under my left arm for about a week before I went to the doc. Who placed me on antibiotics.

Turned out that I shaved, nicked myself and somehow MRSA got into the nick. Horrific infection. You might have them do a MRSA swab of the skin of the lump, if so he needs antibiotics quite soon.

It's going to be OK, Purple. If the doctor were overly concerned, hubby would be in getting that cat scan NOW. I know this is scary, but please try not to worry so much.

Thank you very much. I read them all and he doesnt seem to have any of those. It is more if just a lump egg shaped but a lot smaller and it hurts him,tender to the touch but not shocking hurt.

It is not red and not a boil nor an in grown hair i checked that too. Im just so confused.

I had a small egg shaped lump behind my ear once. It turned out to be a cyst. The doctor couldn't tell me how it got there. They gave me a local and cut it out. It never came back.
