bm support sites?

I know we have this site as stepparents..anyone know of any bm sites and the issues they face? After a recent incident with bm....I really think she's jealous that I took the only thing she had on me...having a baby..before, she was the mother of his only child, and I took that away from her.

Katch,

I have found that blended family sites can be a good place for support for both sides of the Bio-Step situation.

This site would work for a BM also since many of the participants here can apply their experiences to most specific situations that are presented to the community whether BIO or STEP in perspective. For every STEP there is a BIO counterpart. Many participants on this and other Blended Family sites are both Step and Bio parents.

Give it a try and see how it works out for you/her.

Never thought I'd say this but does she know about Parents with Partners? There are chapters all over the country. Basically its more of an inperson support group for parents, usually bio, dealing with loss of their partner thru divorce or death.

Our BM has been an active member of PWP for a LONG time. It hasn't helped her deal with any of her issues (in fact has allowed her to relive alleged abuses again and again to new members) but I think given other circumstances, it might help others.
