Too funny ...
Okay, so today was SS4's open house at his school. A new company bought the place and they are implementing a new curriculum. Anyway, BB is supposed to give us information about school, but we've given up on that - I just ask whenever we pick him up if anything new has gone out. Anyway, she never told us about the open house. So, DH and I take separate cars because of the day's schedules, and as he is pulling in BB is pulling out. He waves, and she starts to waive and then gives him this "what the F are you doing here" look. He said he about fell out laughing. Just had to share.
Oh, and she didn't stay for the open house, she droped SS off and left for work. Nice! His teachers just love DH and I ... kudos to us ... =0)
Two weeks and counting until BB gets what's coming to her in court. Can't wait!!

I almost forgot the most important part. Since BB had just droped off SS when we got there, and DH was there about 5 min before me, so he'd already greeted SS ... No sooner do I walk in and I hear (from across the room) TRINA!!!!!! My SS was excited to see me there too. Some of the kids were confused. I went over, gave him kisses and hugs, told him I loved him, and some of the kids were saying, "if that's your mom who dropped you off?" He said, "she's not my mom, but she's like a mommy, she's my bonus mommy." He said this several times to several students who had the same quesiton. It made me feel so good! Just had to brag! =0)
OH, Friday starts 10-days with SS ... the 2-days after we bring him back we go to court, and hopefully will have him agai on the 13th for another week, then week on week off during the summer. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

I too am so happy for you lady! Have a great time with ss the next two weeks, and keep us updated about court. I am so stressed just waiting on bm to even get served, she is still avoiding the sheriff department, they have left cards for her to call them the past 14 visits to her job and home and she is not responding, just want this to hurry up so we get our day in court too.
