My DH and I are going to a wonderful counselor Monday to talk about how to deal with his Ex Adult SD! Remember? Should he stand up to her about me or should I stand up to her! She uses us and what should we do about it! I can't wait to hear what she has to advise!! I hope I am happy with the results! I may be swallowing my pride! I ll let y'all know who it goes! I will say I plan on taking her advise if I like it or not! (i hope...LOL)

Let us know what the counselor advises. We may all learn from it.

If its an X SD why are you dealing with her at all? Irregardless of what positon she holds in your life there are minimum requirements,
with respect being most important. A person cannot be used unless they volunteer so don't let her use you again.
Learning to say no and not feeling guilty is one of the most important things you will learn in life.

I have to deal with her because my H has an emothional bond with her (she is 29). He was her father for 15 yrs. I truly undestand about not being used! I have put my foot down and she has figured it out and she now thinks I am not treating her egual (which my H wants) Oh well, he can have that realtionship, not me! I dont feel guilty, but my H wants everything to be "perfect". So needless to say, things around here have been stressed. I hope he wakes up and smells the rat! I'll let ya'll know after Monday!!!!!!!!!!!
