We can't have peace!

My DH was gone and we had a great day until SD16 came home asking for a trampoline. (previously posted) We stayed up until 2 in the morning talking about the stupid trampoline. I hate wasting all this energy on the crap we have to deal with due to the skids.

I guess I need to chill sometimes. I raised my bio kids differently.

NO!!! She's SIXTEEN

Not getting a trampoline, for Pete's sake, she's 16!!! Why does DH entertain the idea of getting a trampoline with SD16 without even consulting me. He's always saying how this is my house and I need to feel like it's mine and treat it like it's mine. Sooooooo.....then why am I not asked about buying a stupid trampoline!!

He let her paint her room black, neon green and pink!!! Didn't even ask me about that and I let it slide! BIG F#@CKING MISTAKE!!!

Now the stupid trampoline.

I feel so alone

without my DH. I hate when has to go away for business. I know I should be able to cope without him, but in this house without him, I feel like an outsider.

I posted earlier that I don't want the skids in my bedroom. I feel violated when they walk into my bedroom because it's the only space I have to myself - or I think it should be.

Stay out of my Bedroom!!

Why do they insist on coming into my bedroom? It's been a few weeks since I've had an issue with this topic. First it was! SD16 coming in to my bedroom to iron! WTF! Does it look like a dry cleaners? She'd also take my flat iron into her bathroom and leave trash around. Well it's been a while since that has happened.

What? Improvement?

So after having our talk last night, things seem to be going better. My DH went out of town today and left me with the skids (SS21, SD16).

The talk was about how SD ignores me and has a bad attitude. Seemed like the talk MAY have gotten her attention. She came home, I greeted her, she greeted me, I cooked dinner, she ate; we talked a little, laughed a little, watched a little TV, then went to our respective rooms.

So now DH is mad...

Sad He's mad because I told him that his daughter is disrespectful. She treats me like a peace of furniture. She always has an attitude and is rude. He says he doesn't care if that's how she wants to be; she treats him the same way and yet, he goes to her bedroom to baby her and "see how she's doing." She's 16 - not 6!
