funny my hubby and I have been arguing about this!! I say our 9 month old needs a hair cut! He has had pretty much a full head of hair since he was born and so now it has grown over his ears, and I'm constantly trying to keep it "styled" My SIL does my hair and I had an appointment a couple of weeks ago and asked hubby if he would meet me there with our son so SIL could cut his hair.. hubby said hell no! He thinks his hair is fine, "you two better not even think about cutting it!" etc. ARGH!

hubby did bring him to meet me when I was done and SIL and I badgered him and he did agree to the cut but then I realized that I did not have my camera since he had orignally told me "no" so we didn't do it because I want pics!

Now on the other hand, we have some friends who have a son who is 6 weeks older than ours and they cut his hair and he looks ridiculous.. it's like the bowl cut.. straight across for the bangs and then the same for over his ears.

I feel for you tx! Probably sounds silly to others, but it IS a big decision! good luck! Wink

DS had the most awesome mullett - it was short up front and long and curly in the back - it just grew that way. DH insisted that it get cut and I caved. I wish I hadn't but I did - DS was about a year old. Now DH takes him every 2 months and gets him a trim. He'd take him every month with him if I'd let him but I hate how short the girl cuts DHs hair and I don't want the same for DS.

By the time DS was one, his hair was almost covering his eyes. DH and I thought he looked silly and cute at the same time. My mom begged me not to get his hair cut, but I had to. Poor lil man was getting to the point where he couldn't see. DH and I finally took him in and got his hair cut. The lady did a great job, but DS looked so much Older! He's already in the 95th for his height, then you add a big boy hair cut to it and he looked like he was 3!

DS is now 16 months and he needs a hair cut at least every 2 month or so.
Now, BD on the other hand? I cut her hair myself! Only trims, her hair is beautiful and long. I can't imagine taking her somewhere and them ruining her pretty long hair Smile
