This Might Be Horrible But Kind of Funny....
DH and I were discussing SD last night. I did break down and tell him my suspicions about the bird's death. He actually admitted it MIGHT be true (after several minutes of sighing). Then as I was finishing up cooking supper, he came to me and hugged me and says:
"Did you ever imagine you'd be the stepmom to The Diablo Dwarf?"
I couldn't help but laugh. It's horrible, because SD is SOOOO horrible. But oh mylanta, at the same time it was hilarious. So from now on, I shall refer to her as Diablo Dwarf.
Thursday is meeting day for all of us being run through the ringer with this kid. I'll let you all know how it goes and what is decided!
(P.S. Yes I have been playfully running Macabre Midget, Tiny Terror, etc...through my head all day)

All he did was sigh? He didn't, I don't know, worry about the fact that the kid is PSYCHOTIC? Or that she poses a very real danger to the people around her?
Sorry, but your DH is also insane if he sees nothing wrong with it.

All he does is sigh about her anymore. I think he is at a complete loss. Hopefully Thursday's meeting will help get everyone to open up and figure out what to do.
Sometimes, when you know that
Sometimes, when you know that your kid is just WRONG and you don’t know what to do next… you don’t know what to say… so you *sigh
And you palm your face and squeeze your eyes tight because the reality is… you don’t know how your kid got this way and whatever you’ve been trying to do about it isn’t working…
I can relate to how you DH feels, because my BD13 has had some pretty ugly behavior lately.
She gets punished for it… she stays OK during the punishment and then a few days later it’s “SHUT UP!” followed by *door slam* all over again!
