How many times does DH have to hear the same thing before changes come??

Another phone call today from the school regarding SS13. He is in trouble again for talking and being disruptive during class. He is in 8th grade about to go into high school! This behavior is ridiculous!

Just last week we got a call from a different teacher! Sad

Nothing changes! I was having lunch with DH today when he told me about the phone call. He was visably upset! We had a long talk about SS and I told DH he has to be consistent with him. Then the more we talk we get off the subject...as I'm leaving I remind him to stay calm when he talks to SS and he looks confused! He has already forgotten!! Its almost like DH complains to me and gets it off his chest and then he feels better!!

I have disengaged so whatever he decides to do his up to him but I couldn't believe he forgot so fast! To me this says he doesn't care!! SS currently has 3 F's and I had to tell DH this. Yes, I've disengaged but while I check my BD grades I check SS as well but I normally don't bring it up. I do care but I'm tired of being bashed so I don't say anything but this time I figured since DH was going to have a discussion he might as well know the whole picture!

This is just crazy!!

"what am I supposed to do?" hahaha that is exactly what DH said to me today. In fact that is what he says to me everytime!! I have made the mistake in the past of telling him what he is supposed to do but of course that blows up in my face! No thank you!!

I have a BD13 the exact same age as his son. They go to the same school even have 2 classes together! I discuss her homework every night! I do this right in front of him! How can my BD have homework and SS have none? This of course in same class, uh..not possible! This is why BD has straight A's and SS has F's! This isn't rocket science!!

I admitted that I at times can be a guilty parent due to the fact BD does not see her birth father. I asked DH if he considered himself every a guilty parent and of course he said NO! :O
