My baby is out of surgery!!

He's out. They came and got him at 2:00 today, I sat with him in pre op until 6:00. Apparently the OR that he was going to be in was being used and it was a difficult operation going on. But he went back about 6 and the doc came out right after 8 and told us everything is great. He did good, he's out! If all goes well we can go home Tuesday or Wednesday. If it's Wednesday it'll be 15 days that we've spent in the hospital. Good grief, I can't wait to see my bed! But more important than anything, him and I get to see it together. I thought I was going to lose him a time or two, but the Lord had him in his hands the whole time. I give this one to Jesus, if it weren't for him I don't think Juicey would be walking out of this hospital. But he is! So I've gotta hand this glory to God!

Thank you all for being here for me. This site has kept me going all of these days. I didn't get to be here a whole lot, but when I had the chance I was and it kept my mind off things. I really love my ST family!!

I am so glad to know he is doing well. God is a good God. Praying all continues to go well, and that your family is strengthened in this.

Great news! I am hoping your husband continues to recover well and as quick as possible.

That is awesome. I've certainly been sending good prayers your way. Make sure to take good care of him in the skimpiest nurse outfit you can find but remind him no touching til he's fully healed. All joking aside what you've gone through and how you've handled yourself speaks volumes of the love and respect you and DH share

Mumzy79, thank you so much for saying that. Of course, I only did what any wife would do. It's just horrifying when you are in the situation. You hear of things like this happening, but when it happens to your loved one it's more scarey than you can imagine! I know all the prayers from people here at ST helped. I appreciate you thinking of us enough to pray for him....that is really sweet of you!! ((hugs)) I'm just so happy right now I could cry.

He's back in the room from recovery and he is up watching football! LMAO!! He's such a goof ball!

(((((((JEN))))))) SO happy your DH is on the road to recovery! I didn't think they were ever going to operate on him! Took them long enough to make up their mind but it seems their decision was for the best results! I'll be thinking about you guys and hoping for Dh's speedy recovery so you can get some nookie }:)

Thank you all. I'm so glad he's finally made the turn for the better. Nookie is still a long ways away, but it gives us something to look forward to!!
