I knew something big was coming with SD17 (SD16...she had a birthday) and so did many of you STalkers following my blog posts. If you called it....consider this story an affirmation of your perceptive awesomeness and ability to stop BS in it's tracks. Does anyone else out there feel like somewhere along your stepparent journey your life got swept up in a monsoon of other people's dysfunction? A friend of hours had some kittens a few months ago and I made a comment to my husband about getting one. He said "no" and I was actually relieved with his answer because he was right. We didn't need one. We have too many animals as it is and live on too small of a budget.
