I am grateful to this blog because I do not have a lot of people who can understand where I am coming from. Most of my friends or family members do not have step children and my friends do not have teenagers!

Mediation went overwhelmingly in our favor.

The movie Stepmom was on TV the other night and of course I couldn't help but turn it on. It came out in 1998 and has Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon as the main actresses. I saw the film when it first came out, but it definitely struck a chord with me even more now that I'm a stepmom.

Sometimes I feel like I am so messed up. This morning while nursing BF sprained ankle I was smoothing out the wrap so that it wouldn't curl and catch on his sock (very gently mind you) and he proceeds to ask me why I have to always squeeze his ankle. OMG...that just went all over me. I proceeded to tell him that I am not trying to hurt him and that it really bothers me that he thinks so. I was really upset...could be leftover from the other night or something.

Today was a horrible day...AHOLE DH came home after drinking an at 11PM OUR son says "I'm starving"...Mind you, he does this ALL THE TIME...DH KNOWS how much he eats...but today, you see, DH had a stick up his butt...so he gets angry and starts making our son some hot dogs at 11PM! Mind you, I left at 8PM and went to McDonalds with him and got him an ADULT meal, not a kid's meal...and he ate ALL OF IT...Mind you I cooked Hot Dogs and fries for him at around 4PM when I realized ahole DH was coming home late as he was "networking, ie.

Today I found that DH might actually have a facebook account...It ticks me off to no end because he knows EVERYTHING I have and goes into it, etc...I don't mind...I have NOTHING to hide...on the other hand he's been acting like an ahole lately, especially today...and I keep thinking the whole "you are a loser F U" text from truant did not just come out of nowhere...well, I believe he actually DOES have a facebook acct...

My DH arrived today after having some drinks with friends. To me he had too many, to him he had not. At 8pm I went to Walmart w/my kiddo...we ate at McDonalds and shopped. At 10pm on my way home I call both his cell phones and no answer. I get home and he is asleep.

1)to me if you aré a responsible husband/wife, you always answer your phone if your wife/kids are out, especially at night...anything could happen and my thought is you either stay awake until they arrive home safely or put both phones next to you and answer if they call...or anyone for that matter.

Basically, the intent is to have both NCP and CP end up with "same amount of income"...nice, huh? So, that would mean that in the NCP household everyone suffers, in the CP household, eveyone enjoys the standard of living of the EX-HUSBAND! pathetic!

Every year we go camping to the same place for a week. This is our 5th year going. It has been one year since my stepdaughter has been with us. She refuses to come because I am so mean to her. So she says. I am mean in that I will not put up with a child telling me what she is and isn't going to do. She tells me that her mother and grandparents told her that she doesn't have to mind me and that they are right. Then again, they tell my husband all the time that if he really loved his daughter, he would divorce me. Anyway, it is time to go camping and once again my husband asked her to go.

BF sprained his ankle yesterday afternoon. I came home and put ice on it for him for about 20 minutes and since sprains need compression proceded to wrap his ankle. It was quite sore and when I wrapped it of course it bothered him. His little Princess proceeded to shout at me and tell me not to hurt her daddy. I was beyond pissed....I actually had to go outside to cool off. Why I let this stuff bother me I dunno. She is such a little brat and never does anything for her father but annoy him and demand everything she sees and then she has the nerve to do say that to me.
