Does anyone else have a problem with BM scheduling activities all the time?
Why is it that every other weekend I have to find out about scheduled activities at the last minute. It makes me nuts and I can't stand it anymore. I dread every other weekend because of this. I can never make plans or just rest. I am pissed about it.

Off the rails SD14 delivered by BM who has now gone on holiday
SD14 dropped off at 1.30pm by BM who was rude to me AGAIN (7 years and still no decline in resentment) and then blamed all her daughters problems on DH leaving her, before departing on her holiday on the verge of tears. Classic. Thank God I had a friend over to distract me whilst SD recovered in her bedroom and I waited for DH to get home. On the upside, after an hour of preparation DH and I have had probably the most meaningful conversation in 7 years with SD. There is a lot of work to do and her grounding has just been doubled.
can buying a house lower CS??? advice anyone?
So ofcourse if BM can buy a home so can we!!! shit I think we own atleast half of her home with all the CS she gets from DH!!! but anyways I am wondering can we go back to court and try to modify the original/current CS payment if we purchase a home? We live in California... any suggestions on how to modify with out it bitting us in the butt???
SD (12) did come for the weekend.
She hasn't even done anything(yet)and I feel completely enraged that she's in my house. I know this is not rational and I've just been keeping my distance from her but I hate that she's in my space, I feel like I have no privacy at all and all she does is whine and act like a spoiled brat.

He's Baaaack . . .
SS10 is back from his 8 week visit at his Mom's. Apparently he walked in on his Mom and her on/off boyfriend having sex. He called her a whore. Even though I concur, it is disturbing to me that he spoke to her that way. Yet, I doubt he would ever speak to me that harshly. She's partly to blame. Not for being caught in the act with her boyfriend, but for having a boundary free relationship with her son. See, his anger stemmed from her contradictions. She would confide in him that her boyfriend (who is the father of her 3 year old) is a drunk loser and she's going to leave him.

OT - Are childbirth classes necessary or helpful?
DH and I are expecting twins late in the fall. The only childbirth classes offered at our hospital take place while we are both working. I asked my doc if the classes were necessary, and he didn't really give me a straight answer. I am considering purchasing a video online, but I wanted to ask around first to see if any of you have ever gone through childbirth classes, and if they were indeed necessary or helpful. Do any of you know of any online resources we can purchase so we don't have to miss work one day a week for three weeks?
SS is daytime potty trained...night time isn't gonna happen for a long time because BM refuses to clean up a mess
DF and I started talking the other night about how we think SS3 is ready to start trying "real" underwear at night instead of a pullup. He does wake up often with a wet pullup, but he never has accidents during the day, or even at nap time. I looked up a lot of articles online about overnight potty training and we found out some great tips on how to get through it.
