FDH has finally been pushed to the point he said the words out loud "I'm going to have to fight her for custody". This is a HUGE deal that he would be willing to go through all the BS with Biomom because usually he would do just about anything to cater to her when she tries to start drama. I think she pissed him off enough to make him see that nothing is going to change or get better.

My bio daughter (17 yrs old) and her friend got busted for shoplifting. Long story short, we went to intake worker instead of going to juvie court and daughter has weekly sessions with girls her own age along with a probation officer and a college professor. I make it my responsibility to take my daughter to and from her appointment each week.

everytime we have the little guy, (which is only one weekend a month right now) BM sends and dresses him in 18 mo.clothes, that look like they have been very preworn and old, (some even have holes) he is 2 1/2 so obviously they don't fit him. We have no problem at all about buying clothes for him but having him once a month he grows out of most of them. DH and I are at ends wits with this, is there any way to stop her.

i was just reading a post talking about pregnancy and saying they want there DH to act like he hasnt been through it before so it is exciting for both of them.. i always get really upset thinking that no matter what FDH and i do it wont be as fun or exciting because its the second time round for him. Nothing we do will be for the first time and seriously i cry about it alot.

i dont feel our wedding will be as special or if we had a baby it will just be something normal for him. i know this is very childish and i shouldnt think this way.

Recently, SD went to visit BM's mom who is in a nursing home and will live the rest of her life there. Nasty 80 something year old old Italian woman from the old country.

For the longest time, "Nana" had a really poor attitude about DH. He was nothing, blah blah. Well, recently, since she has been in the hospital, she has been acting kinder about DH and always asks SD how he is doing, what he is doing, where he is, etc.

So my SD 7 has been over since Tuesday and she had just gotten back from camping with her BM and when we got her she seriously had dread locks in her hair, like it was so awful i felt so sorry for her when we had to brush it all out and she was in tears, her hair is almost at the bottom of her hair and its prety thick..

FDH gets a txt message after 6 days of SD being here and goes "SD has been around kids with nits when we went camping, have to give her a treatment before she steos foot back to my house" ( 2 hours before so was due back home)

So it has been about a month since I have had to blog. Which is a sign of progress I think.
THAT and DH took a massive step forward in the custody case. The judge has supported him quite a bit which is surprising because ... well ... he is the father.

Today I am blogging because I found out MY Stepmother is on Steptalk. I find this bizarre because I do not talk to her nor my father. So what is she blogging about? My brother. My brother lives near her and my father and my sister lives in another country. I live in another state.

Hello there everyone. I used to post on this site about a year ago, and now I'm back. I hope that I can listen to people and offer some advice based on my own experiences. My circumstances have changed drastically in the past year. The Dad and I moved to a new city, I became a full time homemaker / stepmom and I successfully got two kids through the third grade and kindergarten! The skids are back living with their mother in Virgina. They will be visiting us over Christmas break and it will be the first time in six months that we've seen them.

I guess I still don't understand..... My child support agreement was filed in Dupage County, Illinois. The agreement does mention child support till the age of 18 and that both parent pay for her college tuition. My daughter is now in college and he wont pay a dime for her college. Do I have take him back to court? Please help.....
