OT - anyone do swagbucks?

secret's picture

I stumbled on it a few months ago... seems pretty legit.

I've traded in points for 2 x 3$ online giftcards on Amazon so far, but I have enough points for 2 more 3$ vouchers. I'm saving them, though, because the higher the point value the higher the giftcard you get. (300 for 3$, 450 for 500$, 1000 for 10$, 2200 for 25$

Easy money. Or in my case, free groceries through amazon...because I also do the subscribe and save thing on amazon... which through swagbucks, gives you 1% to 3% cash back in points...which you can redeem back into amazon.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this link... but if you're interested, check it out.

This past week I've gotten my kids to sign up and run videos in the background on their devices in the evenings... they racked up about 40-50 points a day just running the videos...they auto-play much like youtube... so within the week they each have enough points to tradein for a 3$ online giftcard on amazon. They also do other things on the site (games etc), so all in all they've racked up between 350 and 500 points each this week alone. Their accounts are all linked to my amazon account.

We're going to be saving our points though, because the 25$ online giftcard is only 2200 points.. easily attainable in a month... and there are 4 of us... so 100$ worth of amazon online giftcards seems worth it, especially that there are often sales - right now, it's only 2000 for 25$, and 3900 for 50$.

Totally on track for 25$ amazon card in each account sometime during the first week in February. }:) }:) }:)

I used to but quit for some reason. The most money I have made online is through ebates.

DH does some grocery app where you have to actually scan items in the store. I HATE going to the store with him now but he's earned 2 $5 Amazon gift cards.

Yeah, sounds like Checkout51... I did it for a bit, but it was a PITA.

I collect airmiles... which has this new thing (dunno how new) where you can trade them in for groceries...

I also do PC - I have the mastercard, and the points card, so I get double points... and trade them in for groceries...

I have been doing the very dice app that's free. I simply open it about every hour and click on the watch the 30 second add video for a roll . When I hit 5 rolls I roll the dice. I have already redeemed for two different sets of make up brushes in two months. The trick is to get into the prize search box and type in what you are interested in and it's all there.
Millions of stuff. Don't choose the featured prizes . They don't look very good . So say you want an iPhone or a kuerig. They can be as high as 90,000 points. I have been averaging 10,000 points a month . So just save your points all year and whammo
In November her a really expensive nice something for free. I think a lot of people try it. The roll the dice a few times and then they never open the app again. You can get one free rol an hour by watching a 30 second video . I try and open it once a hour.

Just to update on this in case anyone is following it.... I've legitimately traded in for 225$ since January 17, for amazon gift cards.

Ordered a bunch of crap I didn't need.... including 6 packs of salt and vinegar goldfish crackers, which my husband snarfed in under 24 hours.

I've earned 625$ in amazon gift cards since January.

I also stopped using the extra accounts, so I just have the one... occasionally I'll trade in 5$ or whatever on the others...but not enough to make a difference.

Yes, it does take some time and dedication each day... but just a minimal amount - 15 minutes or so for set up and checking.
