As an older millennial, my "old favorites" are still rather modern. However, as a kid, I LOVED IT if I got Gushers or the fruity gummy sheets (you know, the ones edible undies are made from, but better).

Starbursts are a staple, though, then and now.

I love candy corn. I can never find it in "packets" any more. Just bags. Sad

I also like bottle caps and gummis and sweet tarts.

I love jelly beans.. except for licorice.

I remember when all those goodies where in at the old family corner grocery on the penny candy shelf of big glass bowls. Some were a penny, some 2 to 5 cents. My childhood GF and I use to get 50cents and walk down on Friday after school.

My favorite Halloween treat was always my mother's homemade popcorn balls and rice crispy treats. My grandmother made homemade pumpkin shaped sugar cookies and decorated faces on them. And our local candy shop did caramel apples and caramel corn with pumpkin spice flavored bon-bons. When kids would come in the ladies behind the counter always gave us a pick as to which we wanted for our treat.

But my favorite door -to-door trick or treat candy was sour grape and sour apple gumballs.

I love those peanut butter flavored things in the black or orange wrappers that most people hate.

Just yesterday I was remembering the Brach's Pick a Mix that you could get at the grocery store and realized, they're gone! I liked those white nougat things with colored jelly dots in them, the cinnamon bears, and the "royals" caramel thing with flavors like raspberry inside.

I actually like those peanut butter things (although I'd rather have plain ol' PB!). That other stuff? You can have it all! Wink

I loved the pixie sticks!! Except they would get broken or bent in the candy filled pillow case and sugar was everywhere. Memories Smile

Pixie stix... that's all. Actually all of the candies that are minimally removed from the raw form of sugar lol.
