My Heart is Broken -OT

BSgoinon's picture

We live only 3 hours from Vegas, and our town is very much a country music town. I had SO many friends that were at Route91 this weekend. Sadly, one of them is not coming home. Jenny was a kindergarten teacher, a wife and a mother of 2 beautiful kids. This feels unreal.

Along with Jenny, her husband was shot in the arm. My coworkers nephews were shot (one in the arm, one in the leg) a different coworker was there and is blood splattered from the woman standing next to her, shot in the head. My nephews good friend is in surgery. And I have many many more that escaped without injury.

I am tired. I am heartbroken. I am sick of the violence and hate.

We are 4 hours away and I heard quiet a few people from our town were there, I know of two that were shot. My friend and her husband live there and I was relieved to find they were safe. It's a horrible tragedy. So very sorry to hear this is affecting you as well.

I'm sending you a warm hug. I wish there was something I could say that would make it better. I had to turn off the news, it was too much. So many things in our world today make me sad. I can't even get angry anymore. It is all so unnecessary.

This is incredibly heartbreaking. I’m so sorry for the loss of all those people from some murderous scum bucket.

Have a lot of family members including a cousin that works as a manager at the Bellagio. I was scared all night for him. Thankfully he’s OK. I’m so sorry for the loss that you’re experiencing right now.

I have this big hugs to give you. I’m at a loss for any kind of helpful words.

This is tragic and utterly senseless. I am sorry for your loss and for the state of violence in our country and around the world.

It is so difficult to deal with losses like this.

I lived thru Katrina - I lost some dear people in my life as did many others. I also lost several friends during 9/11.

It doesn't matter whether it is a natural disaster, a terrorist attack, or some nutso who wants to kill people - it still hurts like hell.

I hate that there is so much evil in the world.

I am so sorry.

I don't have the words to express how this tragedy makes me feel. I'm in tears, and I don't even personally know any of the people. The natural disasters are hard enough to handle. This is just unreal. Senseless, wrong, evil. All those innocent people....

It is so sad. what makes a person do that.A guy I used to work with was there and helped rescue between 30 and 40 people. His dad is a former MLB player and there was a write up about it locally.

So sorry. How tragic and senseless. I think I saw a picture of your friend on CNN last night. They had mentioned she was a kindergarten teacher. Such a beautiful woman in a selfless career and a loving family. Prayers and hugs.

BSGOINON if you read this, I do believe I saw Jenny's photo on Fox News.

What a beautiful infectious smile she has. Jenny looks so kind and gentle too. The children all of the children, oh my goodness.

Heartbreaking. I am just so sorry. It is very hard to have a friend die.

:(.

GOODLUCK, Thank you. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. She LOVED her students. She LOVED her family. She LOVED LIFE.

How dare this evil man steal that from her, from her kids. I have so much anger.

I just found out today that a good friend of mine knew one of the Canadian women who was killed.

She's very good friends with her mother in law.
She was at the concert with her husband. I don't even know if he was hit or if he's home yet. I'm sure there are a lot of details and plans to be made.
She leaves behind two young boys.

Such a sad, sad, senseless tragedy.
