I'm sorry friends - because I am sitting here laughing my butt off

about Twit's compression suit. I finally got around to looking them up and find that, as usual, Twit is full of carp.

After looking at the things offered and what they do, I don't think I found anything about it being a medical treatment. So, IMHO, there goes the twit defense about how it is NOT her, but the genetics she inherited. THIS woman could not tell the truth about anything if her life depended on it.

Here DH is trying to figure out how her lymph glands would be genetically affected to cause her to gain weight and toxins in her body and not be able to lose it when it is all BS.

I could be wrong on this because I am not a medical expert in any way.

So, instead of getting off her bouncy butt and exercising, she prefers to put on some suit and actually do nothing but sweat in it. Just like one would do in a sauna. My guess is that it must be easier to sit in that contraption and eat ice cream then actuall exercise. What a fool.

Obviously, since she is not as huge as the 400 lber, she probably isn't a candidate for weight loss surgery (forget the name...bari...?)

Sorry friends, I just had to tell someone and DH isn't the one to tell this to. But what I see here is a Twit that, is not only bat sh*t crazy, but lazy as well. Instant gratification with no effort because it is NOT her fault. But, she has to get the drama in by claiming it is a medical treatment. Geez Louise. Sounds like desperation to me.

I am ever so glad I am out here on the balcony looking at the mountains in the distance that being anywhere near that cretin.

At least she will get some exercise trying to squeeze herself into that gadget , so there's that.

Just hope her husband doesn't snap a pic of Twit in her genetic 'disease control' garb and plaster it on social media with Twit's sad tale of battling her ills. Wink

My wife and I made a major lifestyle change in March and together have lost 116 pounds (65 me, 51 her). Sadly it can be a lot of choices in a few areas that cause weight gain. Caloric intake, lack of exercise, and food choices. For us it has been all of those things. We have dealt with the caloric intake and food choices elements and are working on the exercise element. Until Twit makes major changes to her lifestyle she will not see the changes she wants to see.

Good for you and your wife, Rags. Right on!

No, nothing changes with Twit. That is part of her problem. As she told DH, she is suppose to go on an ALL organic diet, no meat, dairy, etc.; which pretty much just leaves lettuce, etc. Her first complaint was that she couldn't AFFORD organic, and then admitted that she cheats on whatever diet she was given. So, nothing is going to change.

I have visions of a size 20 woman trying to wrangle herself into a size 10 elastic bodysuit. If that thing gives someone is going to get hurt from the flying debris.

shes driving me crazy in my retirement's picture

Hi notasm - You are having the same vision I am and it is frightening. Kind of like a version of that michlein tire man.

Would it make sense in thinking that if those things worked everyone would be wearing them to lose weight and reshape one's figure?

notasm3's picture

Oh if only there were such a "magic solution" there would no longer be any people with weight issues.

You are going to get a kick out of this....after she finds this doc who tells her that her "inability" to lose weight is because of a genetic gene she has that has something to do with her lymph glands (?). She claims she goes back to her regular doc., who has given her pills, tests for thyroid, diets, etc. and tells him he missed it and...get this....claims she showed him where it was on her body! What the h*ll that means I hate to even thing.

Claims he told her that he didn't know that. Evidently her regular doctor, according to her, is stupid. But we all know what she thinks of the medical profession.

I don't know, somehow the whole story stinks like 3 day old fish to me. I mean she is suppose to wear this thing so it breaks down the toxins in her fat and pushes them into her stomach or blood stream to be carried away? And this has something to do with her lymph glands....very rare according to Twit. Hmmm. Seems the 400 lber might have the same problem but not a word about taking him into be checked out if it is a medical/genetic issue. One would think that would be something she would want the 400 lber to check out right away, at least I would if I was told about such a condition. This is what tells me it is total BS.

I am thinking she doesn't want to do the things necessary to lose weight....things like diet, exercise etc. So she goes out and gets this compression suit (according to DH she describes it as looking like a space suit) and rather than admit that it is lack of will power, and common sense, she makes up this story so she can get sympathy for being fat (after all - since it is genetic it is not HER fault) and she is in on some stupid fad.

I can just see her in this goofy thing sitting in front of the tv with a quart of ice cream and a spoon.

I had a work acquaintance (when I lived in Northern California of course) who had a doctor that "diagnosed" her physical problems by phone. She would place the phone on various parts of her body and he would come up with such "solutions" such as she was allergic to broccoli.

She also had a chiropractor who claimed to be able to cure AIDS. I can't believe what some people fall for.

So about 11 - 12 years ago I tried a weight loss body shaping thing.

Tensor bandages were soaked in this special solution and then tightly wrapped around your entire body. I looked like a mummy!
You then got on a tread mill or elliptical and worked out for an hour and a half. Nothing really strenuous, you just basically walked the whole time.
The bandages were then taken off.

The lady took measurements before and after. I lost a ton of inches, like 3 around my waist and 1.25 on each of my thighs. The great thing was that it stayed off for over a week.

You were supposed to have the treatment once every 2 weeks and the inches would eventually just stay off. I'm not sure if I lost any weight, I just remember the inches.
A one time treatment was great if you had a dress you needed to fit into for a special occasion.

It was stupid expensive and I decided that it wasn't worth it. I should just eat better and keep up the 1.5 hour walks!

THAT sounds like something she is into to me. Except that she is claiming that it is a medical treatment....those genetic lymph gland problems (RIGHT!)

'Cause when DH asked her how this treatment would be evaluated she told him that when she went back they would know by her measurements, weight, etc.

But if they expect her to actually diet, don't count on that....she told DH she already cheats on it and forget the organic as it is too expensive for her.

What a liar she is.

You say this treatment is very expensive YET Twit has been calling us because she needs money...money for Drunkie's lawyer, to pay back her hubby's family for the pots and pans they bought as bridal shower gifts for the wedding that is now not going to take place, etc.

Great information. Thanks.

shes driving me crazy in my retirement's picture

Notsobad- Did they ever give you a time frame as to how long before the inches stayed off permanently?

notsobad's picture

I think this is what it was, it looks the same.

http://www.slimbodywraps.com/home/index

A woman did it out of her home salon. I went with a friend of mine who was loosing weight with DR.Bernstein. It was working for him and he didn't want to have flabby skin. They said the wraps would stop that. Honestly, I'm not sure if it helped or not.

I don't remember how many treatments she said it would be before the loss became permanent. We'd bought a pkg of 3 each and I felt that she was just trying to get us to buy more.

Shes driving me, nothing about this was medical, LOL. My guess would be that they told her it would detox her lymph nodes.

shes driving me crazy in my retirement's picture

Thanks notsobad. I know nothing about this type of thing. It sounds similar but with some sort of compression suit (full body suit) she puts on.

As for being medical....Twit is a liar about everything. She could not tell the truth if her life depended on it. If this genetic thing that this doctor found....supposedly with a blood test....was real; then her regular doctor would not see it by touching an area. I won't say anything to DH, but I think the medical excuse is just to make it seem that she can't lose weight by dieting and exercising because of this fault genetic issue. You know the ole she's a VICTIM it is not her fault thingy she just so loves....the poor darling (not).

What I hear is the sound of Twit desperation on losing weight. H*ll, she is over 50! None of us have the same bodies we had when we were young and before children.

The real thing in life is to age gracefully and be comfortable with yourself.

Example, for years I use to tint my hair when I started turning gray. Now, I love the gray....I wear it with pride...kind of like a badge of honor as I have made it through life. What I do do is to have a good stylish hair cut etc.

notsobad's picture

It could be an updated version. Instead of wrapping bandages around your body, maybe you wiggle into a compression suit?
The visual of an over weight person doing that that is both funny and disturbing.

That's probably fat shaming but I keep remembering that scene from Steel Magnolias where Olympia Dukakis says "It looks like two pigs fightin under a blanket"

I absolutely agree with you, she's a classic narcissist and takes no responsibility for anything. If she's fat, it's not her fault, it's a genetic condition!

I'm trying to grow old gracefully but must admit I hate the new lines that i wake up with every morning.

sd looked horrid in her spaghetti strap wedding dress she picked out. before the wedding she had to go up to a bigger size to stuff her self into.

she says she is dieting but still stuffs her face at every meal with extra helpings. and she keeps getting bigger and bigger. i dont say a word.

dh thinks she was a gorgeous bride no surprize. she was stuffed into the dress with the rolls of fat hanging over the top. even the veils did not cover it up. yes right gorgeous. lol

this sd treats her husband like crap and he always has a shocked look on his face when she snaps at him and glares at him. narcisist bride. poor thing this young man. and sd is getting into arguments already with her new mil.

what you do comes around. good luck sweetie. you deserve it!
