Proud of DH

DH just called me and told me that BM called. The only time she calls and doesn't text is when she wants something.

SD13 is feeling sick and needs to be picked up from school. BM wanted my DH to leave work and drive her to BM's house.

DH actually told her NO. I'm still in shock.

BM doesn't work during the day but figured since DH was working close to SD's school, that he should just leave work and go get SD.

He told her that she needs to get her and take her to the doctor. That he is no longer in the BM favor giving business.

She then tried the guilt trip "But SD needs you. This is about SD not me" HAHAHAHAH

Let me get this straight, one parent is at home the other is at work (a job where he doesn't even have vacation time yet) and the parent that is in the middle of the work day should leave work and lose money so that the parent that is at home can continue to sit on her ass. OK.

Thank God he told her No or we would have been fighting all night about this.

Wow, that's great. I just don't understand why she would ask him this when she wasn't working and was at home! (oh, I know to be lazy but sheesh).

It's one thing for a parent to step in when the other parent is in a bind and otherwise occupied, but just because they don't feel like getting out of their jammies? nope.

One time SS didn't get on the

One time SS didn't get on the school bus to go home because he thought I was picking him up. The school called BM because she's the CP. She called DH to got get him.

We were at work over an hr away from his school. We had to leave work 2.5hrs early (we rode together everyday) and go get him.

I was seriously pissed off when I found out that BM was sitting at home doing nothing and she only lived 10 minutes from the school.

Saying No is a new thing for my DH.
