New Years Resolutions 2017?????

sammigirl's picture

I would like to hear some of your New Years resolutions for 2017.

Mine is quite short:

Stay disengaged, and be true to myself. Move forward and not to bring the past to DH and my new beginning.

Hey Sammi,

Level 4: The deep truthful ones are about living my life with more authenticity and honesty; working on my kindness and empathy with my mother; responding with less judgement to SO; support and demonstrate love to my biokid every day; walking the path of my own integrity ... Go to Church more. Spiritual practice. Journaling. Trying to reconnect with that aspect of my life.

Level 3: Train/ride my horses 4x/week. Gym 4x/wk ... eat clean/healthy

(which I do not know how to do ... just had boy-child hold the door open so that I could carry my last "healthy" soup out to the trashcan. Thank God for Colorado cool nights. I thought one of the cats pooped in the kitchen. Nope. My healthy soup. LMAO.)

Level 2: Show more kindness to SGD-13. Demonstrate more kindness to ex-DH as he wanders through his next divorce from my boy's SM.(Summon more compassion ... nah, can't go there for SD-31... she's a sociopath/addict, self-diagnosed bipolar excuse for poor behavior. ) Provide more positive experiences with SGS --- enriching their environment.

Level 1: Actually post more of the blogs that I write.

Indigo: You are ambitious!

Level 4: You sound like a very caring person and have lots of love to pass around.

Level 3: You must be in great physical condition!

Level 2: You are again spreading compassion and love here; don't forget to be true to yourself also.

Level 1: I would like to read your post, looking forward to it.

There is always room to readjust your goals; just doing something is good!

Setting the goals is easy; taking action to meet them is very rewarding. Taking care of yourself is good and definitely stay disengaged.

Stay disengaged and let it take up less space in my mind, though I am much improved, given quite a bit of help from my ST friends!
