Suitcase is Put Away

We came back from our (fun) vacation, SDs were actually pretty great and we all had a good time.

The day we got back, later that evening, I let SD12 know that she needed to do two things.

1) Put her new sandals and dress, purchased on our trip for our wedding later this summer (my niece and her are matching), away properly. Sandals on her shelf and dress hung up immediately. They are not to be touched prior to wedding.
2) Three days from now, the suitcase needs to be emptied and clothing properly put away.

She did take care of the new clothes as asked.
(If not I would have removed them and stored them myself, which I will do if she messes with them)

She did not take care of her suitcase.
So the day after her "deadline" I went in, closed up the suitcase with everything still in it, and put it back into storage. She's not said a word yet.

Nope.
I agreed she could keep them in hers.
I made it clear that if anything happens to them, then she and my niece will no longer match and she'll have to decide on other items.

They weren't expensive at all since it's a casual wedding so I'm not worried about some expensive stuff.

I'm betting either once the weather warms up a little and she starts looking for her new summer stuff and flip flops OR once we get out the suitcase for a trip this summer.

Of course it can't be because her new, still unused toothbrush that's a month old now is still in there.

The reaction? I don't care.
I've done things like this before.
"I asked that it be put away and it wasn't, so I did so."
End of conversation.
