This HAS to be a joke, right???

She can't possibly be THIS stupid...???

Ok, so most of you know I can see BM Facebook. She thinks she is completely blocked, but... well, she also thinks that some of my friends are HER friends because they are polite to her for SS's sake. WRONG.

Anyway, here is the timeline of her posts starting from most recent. She is supposed to be picking SS up from school in an hour and a half and I am a little concerned.

TODAY:

"Does anyone have like $5 I can borrow... PLEASE"

"Stop complaining- Being an adult is easy- pay your bills, don't smoke meth, keep a few close friends, wear deoderant, and tip your bartender"

YESTERDAY:

"Stay away from STILL people...

Still broke
Still complaining
Still Borrowing
Still Hating
Still Childish
Still Insecure
Still Stupid
Still not making a change in their life....

STILL...

Umm.... she is basically telling people to stay away from HER since she is EVERY ONE OF THOSE THINGS... STILL!!

Also, what 37 year old woman doesn't have $5 to her name to the point of taking to social media to ask to borrower it. How is she going to afford gas to get SS to pick him up from school and bring him to me 2 hours later?? WTF??

I can't say anything about social media but I know that BM and her parents (thieves, liars and complete hypocrites every one of them) are front and center at church every single Sunday. Makes me feel like

BM is an ultra-religious "church lady" who posts memes all day long about Jesus, love, etc. Part of me wants to believe that she is truly sincere and has turned a corner in her life.

But she belonged to the same church and was ultra pious in the days before social media while she was f*cking the neighborhood. And I cannot believe that a true Christian with love in their heart would do what she did to DH about OSS's death and funeral (didn't tell him).

But it really makes no difference to me. She is not relevant to my life at all.

SS30 went from posting every day about his excessive drug and alcohol use (along with detailed info about his sexual escapades and terrible racist sh*t) to emulating his mother and posting "Christian" holier than thou stuff all day long. But I have no use for him either.

That's the beauty of having a skid who is not a minor.

OP - what I worry about with your situation is that your SS is facing the extremely difficult teen years. Here's hoping that he gets through with the guidance from you and his father and as little influence from BM as possible.

I'm sure SS will have some struggles. It is difficult to teach a child the difference between right and wrong when WRONG is staring him in the face with his own mother. The significantly decreased contact hopefully will help. Also, she is about 3 breaths away from being homeless. So, it's not like he is witnessing some glorified story of drug use and how "fun" life can be. He has watched her struggle and suffer, and ultimately loose the most important thing in her life at her OWN fault. We are hopeful that his witnessing her downward spiral and form an opinion on his own, (because we do not speak poorly about her) will teach him more than any "don't do drugs" speech will ever resonate.

You really never know what will resonate with a child. I saw the movie "The man with the Golden Arm" with Frank Sinatra about heroin addiction when I was 9 years old. My older cousins took me to a movie that I was much too young for. But it made a HUGE impact on my life. I NEVER wanted to be an addict. It literally scared me straight.
